Part of the freaknet.org free-access computing project
lumpystreet has been inaccessible from the net for months.
It seems that the people who kindly hosted it for a year don't want to do so
any more.
This page is a placeholder hosted on the main freaknet machine.
As soon as I can retrieve the hardware, a '486 running Slackware Linux 4.0 and
a Sun SPARCStation running SunOS 4.1, and find somewhere to host them, it will
be available again.
The Internet Archive has conserved a copy of
some of its web site on the 9th Feb 2004, visible
here.
If you want to try the old address to see if it's come back on line, it is
(or was) 217.207.12.110 for
Web,
FTP or
telnet.
Meanwhile, most of the services that lumpystreet provided are also available on
medialab.
Andreas Foerster's akfquiz instead, now has a Freshmeat page and its own demo site.
